These oranges are over a year old... we preserved them with cloves. They still smell wonderful! I actually have one from my childhood that we bring out every Christmas.

It's SOOO simple. You simply press whole cloves (pointy side in) into an orange. It naturally dries it out and preserves it. They last forever and smell wonderful. The singer is Xavier Rudd from Australia... http://www.xavierrudd.com/
